Es un verdadero problema el ver la reputación de tu sitio comprometida por enlaces de los cuales ni siquiera tenías constancia de su existencia, es algo que puede haberle ocurrido a quien dejó la gestión de su Web en manos irresponsables, acumulando links en granjas de enlaces y directorios poco recomendables. Para quien no se dedique profesionalmente al desarrollo Web y tenga un sitio que se vea afectado por esta contingencia será bueno saber que existe un servicio de Google para repudiar los enlaces negativos, pero es preciso manejarlo con cuidado, pues puede ser fatal el emplearlo sin conocimiento. Interesting Neil. I've had some newer sites link to other websites only to suddenly receive emails saying that they DEMAND I remove the link to their website from my content! Since when does a domain owner have the legal power or authority to demand that a link to their site be removed because they hadn't authorized it or because they said it was in violation of Google's linking requirements. What's with that? I remember not to long ago that people wanted links because that was a doorway to traffic. I don't have "crap" sites nor do I create them for advertising purposes like adsense like so many people do. What's up with that?

I think it offers an alternative way of presenting info, and it gives you a lot of options to actually showcase data about who you are. Pressfolios is another good one in this direction.

I will be the one who says they will never have on page ads like we are accustomed to. The top of the money chain on the internet is information. If Google knows everything about us, their agreements with Ad and information gathering companies will more than keep them going strong for years to come. GPlus is just a layer on top of everything Google.
