Mobile malware tends to loiter in a few "bad neighborhoods" online that you should stay out of anyway.

No sooner had we reported that Microsoft will adopt a "rolling update" model for Windows 10... Simple: head to Apple Menu | App Store... | Updates and make sure you have the latest version of Safari. To check your Safari version, run the browser and use Safari | About Safari, or open a Finder window and go to Applications| Safari.app. For more information from the horse's mouth, visit Apple's Security Updateslanding page (which has been re-numbered from HT1222 to HT20122), or theSafari x.x.6 update page itself (HT204826).

WordPress 4.2.1 is now available. This is a critical security release for all previous versions and we strongly encourage you to update your sites immediately. A few hours ago, the WordPress team was made aware of a cross-site scripting vulnerability, which could enable commenters to compromise a site. The vulnerability was discovered by Jouko Pynnönen. WordPress 4.2.1 has begun to roll out as an automatic background update, for sites that support those. For more information, see the release notes or consult the list of changes. Download WordPress 4.2.1 or venture over to Dashboard → Updates and simply click “Update Now”.

Very useful and interesting. Though this has a 'watermark' it is still a valuable video and would be interesting to share with staff and students.

We're excited to announce new tools that help make WordPress even more accessible to people around the globe. Roughly half of the content and traffic on the internet is in English1, yet English is the mother tongue of only about a quarter of internet users2, and less than 5% of the world’s population.3 We believe that WordPress.com should be for everyone, not just English speakers — it’s why we already serve WordPress in 131 languages — but we want to make it even more accessible.4 To keep so many languages up to date we need to make it radically easier for non-English speaking communities to help with translation. We’re proud to announce our latest step in that direction: the Community Translator.
